Sweet Dreams

This blog is about automatic writing. If you are new to this site, please take a moment to read Intro to Automatic Writing. When you go there, you will find My Introduction from the book, Journey Within – Another Dimension Of Life. The introduction is brief, but it gives a good explanation of how this process (automatic or channeled writing) began for me. Please read that before you continue reading here—everything on this site will make more sense when you do.

Quiet Moments Of Reflection

When it comes to automatic writing, quiet moments of reflection are a great starting point for me (this is the meditate and evaluate part of their mantra). These are times when I go inside and review the events of my day, the good and the bad, the painful and the pleasant, and I ask what I could have done differently to have a better outcome. Usually, in a very short period of time, I start hearing messages. It’s like I’m sitting all alone in a great amphitheater just listening, and when the words come, I start writing—things like this:

“To learn nothing but hate from the hateful, is to reduce the soul.

The message may be crystal clear, but if one chooses not to listen, the message is of no consequence.

Many lessons go by in life, for some, not one is ever learned.

We all come from the same source. A portion of that source () resides within each of us, it can be expanded or diminished at will.

It may be said a thousand times, but it must be heard only once. Love is the driving force of the universe.

Seeing the messages for what they are, is a matter of connecting the dots. If the dots cannot be seen, the connections will never be made, and the matters may never be resolved.

Born of necessity or desire we each have our own mountain to climb, our own challenge to meet, and our own reason for being here, sometimes we just need to figure it out.”

That is typical of what I hear when I review my days. Other times, when I am in that place, the messages come in the form of suggestions or ideas to consider. It gets really interesting, and it’s actually fun. Here is more:

Your Great Creation

“How much does a thought weigh? How much power does it produce? Without physical form or mass—our thoughts are also without limits and they have the potential to bring forth all things that do not exist in nature.

What great creation can ever be without a purpose? Have you thought about your great creation, your special dream, your purpose? If you have, you can certainly write about it. When you write about it, it becomes real—physical evidence of your dream and why you are here.”

It’s easy to get lost in the writing, they can get off on a tangent or off on an adventure, to places like this:

“Travel in time for a moment or two, to a place where you create something so magnificent that you cannot contain it, something so wonderful that you want to share it with all others. Then look at a picture of this planet, and ask yourself how something so beautiful could ever be without a higher level of intelligence to behold it. Whose dream is that?

Go one step further down this path and form an image of the people who built the camera that took the picture. Then think of the great minds that came together and launched it into space. Were these just random actions—creations without a purpose—or did someone have a dream?

There is another dream of course, perhaps the best dream of all. You have known about it for quite a while. How many times have you asked yourself why…”

They go on to talk about awakenings, and bringing our dreams to life. Here are some words from the first chapter of Journey Within about personal growth.

A Grand Idea

“The choice is ours, we can lie on the couch and complain about life, or we can meet our challenges, doing what needs to be done, grateful for the fact that we have something to do.

We can stay in our rooms and weep for our loneliness. Or we can draw upon the love that is all about us, and expand upon that love as much as we wish.

We can turn a dream on its head and devise a million ways to scuttle the dream before it ever floats, or we can breathe life into a grand idea, bringing into the physical, what at first was pure thought.”

They point out that our dreams are fragile things and they must be attended to. Here is the subtitle to chapter three:

“Any idea—whether great or small

Good or bad, barely formed, or fully alive

Left to fend for itself, shall never survive.”

There is a link on every page with information regarding purchasing the book. In total, what they have to say is truly amazing.
