If you are new to this site, please take a moment to read Intro to Automatic Writing. When you go there, you will find My Introduction from the book, Journey Within – Another Dimension Of Life. The introduction is brief, but it gives a good explanation of how this process (automatic or channeled writing) began for me. Please read that before you continue reading here—everything on this site will make more sense when you do.

If you read my introduction and followed these posts in order, you will know about the book of poetry I recorded and published before the book, “Journey Within” was published. You will also know that this poetry was the result of a process of transcription—I hear words, and I write them down. I believe these words come from beings that exist without physical form.

They often speak about what it is like in the spirit realm. Here they describe the insight imparted from a near death experience in a poem titled, “Incorporeal”:

“The truths in life are very few

We do exist, of this you knew

But for those in life

Who’ve cheated death

Gone, beyond the coldest breath

Who awoke to see the carnage

Then spoke with inner knowledge

Of a place so real, you could almost feel

Another way, in a life, that’s not in solid

Where the truth is known, all we ever own

Is who we are and what we’ve done.”

As well as transcribing what I hear, I also see images in my thoughts—almost like short movies. Once, in the middle of a writing session, they stopped the writing and told me to describe a vision I had. This is how the conversation went.

“The smooth flow of information is a product of intrinsic knowledge of the process Stephen… Write down what you saw!”

“Okay. They were going underwater, holding their breath and trying to communicate while doing so. So many were above the surface, observing and sad. Like a rescue party at sea. For most on that side it was too dense and too deep.”

“Excellent.”

Earlier that day, I had seen a brief glimpse of this scene—it was very dramatic. There was a sense of urgency and despair on their side that was almost palpable. They were desperately trying to inform their loved ones of the dangers of their behavior in this manifestation. It was like a snapshot of a motion picture. The whole scene happened in an instant, but it felt like I was there with them.

Usually, when I am writing, I don’t recall much of what comes through. However, at the prompting of the voices, my mind suddenly recalled a frame of that earlier vision. They were just reminding me to record all of what I saw.
